MOBO Board

Building your foot strength is KEY in developing a strong foundation for your running—literally. Yes, core and hips and legs are all important, but the foot is commonly ignored despite your landing on it every step of the way! To MOBO Board has become a critical component of my own run training regiment and in rehabbing injured runners. It is a very worthwhile $85 investment to train your foot strength for LIFE. Those $150 dollar pair of shoes you bought for running are important, but for a fraction of the cost you can invest in the health of what’s in those shoes and be more likely to reduce your injury and enjoy running for life. Invented by Jay Dicharry—the genius who wrote the book above. Click image of MOBO Board above to view in store and purchase.

ROAR, How to match your food and fitness to your female physiology for optimum performance, great health, and a strong, lean body for life.

Female athletes have different nutritional requirements than male athletes. Stacy Sims, PhD has put together the most comprehensive source of information on how female athletes should dial in their nutrition surrounding their menstrual cycle and monthly hormone fluxes in her book ROAR, How to match your food and fitness to your female physiology for optimum performance, great health, and a strong, lean body for life. Seiko Metronome

Yes. There are free metronome apps you can get for your smart phone. But in the clinic when treating runners, running workshops and ….running on my own, I love the freedom of a simple portable and clip on metronome that keeps my cadence (step rate) right on track.  A step rate of 170-180 steps per minute has been shown to reduce injury risk…and make your running more efficient.  Click on image of metronome to view in store and purchase.

Penalty Box

A portable, versatile hurdle to get your plyometric exercises in anywhere!  You can lay it flat to work on jumping precision within the boxes or stand it up to challenge your power and jump height.  Great for group workshops—you can buy several penalty boxes in a multipack, too.  Click on image to view in store and purchase.

Perform Better Bands

Simple, portable equipment for worthwhile exercises. You can get a good butt burn with some very functional exercises for runners without the need to go to the gym and perform exercises on a fancy squat rack—lovely if you have access to that—but Perform Better Bands can help you get some serious results from the comfort of your own home.
